Looking ahead to this 2022 Season

Work to do:

• Courtesy Boat Inspections at the Public Boat Launch - Mark Kaminski and Dick Harvey

  • It looks like we will be getting $2000 from DEP and some other funding to allow us to compensate some of the Inspectors

  • Volunteer here

• DEP section 319 Grant application to assist with establishing buffers and fixing roads/driveways.

• Fund Raising

  • We’ll work toward the first of two Alum Treatments for the lake - It’ll take two

    • First one will be on us

    • We’ll need to work on the sites identified in the Watershed Survey to reduce the Non-Point Source pollution into the lake

    • We can then work for DEP Grants and other external funding for help with the second

  • More to follow on how to contribute

• Continued work at the Fishway/Dam site

• Water Quality Monitoring

• And other association work to keep things moving ahead
