What are road associations?

Road associations are coordinated efforts to maintain and improve shared private camp roads. The are important because when not properly maintained, camp roads and ditches can become major conduits for storm water runoff into the pond. This can contribute to large amounts of phosphorus being added into the water each year that can contribute to algae blooms on the lake.

How you can help.

  • Pay your annual dues for maintenance and longer-term improvements.

  • Get in touch with your road commissioners to see how you can help.

  • Walk your camp road and pick up trash along the way.

If you don’t know who the road commissioner is for your Road Association contact the WLA to find out at togusponds@gmail.com
